The Refinery unit will be having a regeneration outage around the third quarter of the 2026 fiscal year, whereby the replacements and repairs to some critical equipment as well as the regeneration of the Catalyst for increased activity will be done. The tasks involve will require the utilization of fire-watch and entry attendants- services for the entry of vessels, cutting of pipelines, welding of vessels, etc. The total duration for this service is estimated at Seventy (70) calendar days. The fire water system is the primary fire-fighting tool used at the Refinery. Petrojam source of water is the Kingston Harbour, and there are two pumping stations adjacent to the Harbour, which supply water to the firewater system. The system consists of inter-connected loops of 8” and 10” mechanical jointed piping ductile iron that supplies our hydrants, fixed monitors and sprinkler with seawater. The system also facilitates: 1) the cooling of equipment during fire to minimize damage; 2) fog application to enter fire areas to effect fuel release stoppage; and 3) is the basic ingredient in the production of foam. The system provides a maximum of 3, 000 gallons per minute (gpm) to all the areas within the Refinery through looped mains; with minimum hydrant pressure 80 pounds per square inch gauge (psig). In addition to the hydrant outlets, fixed hose reels, mobile monitors and sprinklers also assist in the rapid utilization of water from the system. The outlet connecting accessories are American National Standard Thread:
