1‐Install full size access doors in architectural chases containing fire damper access doors and relocate penthouse silencers to allow installation of damper access doors on the penthouse side of wall.2‐ Install new dampers with duct access doors in rated assemblies where none currently exist.3‐ Conduct damper testing and associated documentation for code required and Data/LAN room dampers.4‐ Provide signage for dampers identified as not code required and not subject to inspection and testing.5‐For code‐required dampers and those in Data/LAN Rooms; Inspect and test then repair or replace as required. Provide suitable patching in wall assemblies to maintain proper fire resistance rating of theassembly. Provide ceiling access hatches, remove or relocate barriers that prevent access to dampers, replace dampers that are set too far back into wall or installed in the wrong orientation, provide access doors of appropriate size closer to dampers, and provide damper identification.6‐For non code required dampers; Leave as is which may not be accessible for inspection or testing. Identify as not requiring inspection and testing. Remove damper if in a rated wall assembly and infill opening.**See tender documents for a more indept SOW for design*****The SOW of this project also includes support through tender negotiations and construction/closeout as listed in tender documents.
