Transparency, canopy|f?16a/c|forward; 550?knot birdstrike laminated; solar. This item is a flight safety critical item that is required to perform to the oems specifications, purchasing this item from fully qualified venders is a requirement. Failure of this item could result in loss of the aircraft and loss of life.
There are a limited number of manufacturers that have access to lockheed martins' master tooling. The master tooling is required to set up fixtures/tools to make this part and locate all of the holes correctly. These parts are f-16 specific. These items are flight safety critical and are required to perform to the oems specifications, purchasing these items from fully qualified venders is a requirement. Failure of these items could result in loss of the aircraft and loss of life.
The parts must meet the requirements of 16zk002 rev g to include bird strike requirements, sunshine testing, and other critical testing. The part must also meet the size and fit requirements of f-16 master gauges and tooling.
