INVITATION FOR TENDERS TWO STAGE

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

Additional financing information:
Co-financing for the Project will be provided by the European Investment Bank ("EIB") in the amount of EUR 126 Million and by EU Neighbourhood Investment Facility ("NIF") under a grant in the amount of EUR 30 Million.

2. Information on the Procurement Exercise

3. Other Information
The Scope of Works for this Contract is to Design Build and Supervision of Operation and Maintenance of Zawyet Al Karadsah Wastewater Treatment Plant so that the final effluent quality satisfies the requirements. The Contractor shall design wastewater treatment plant with tertiary treatment of an ultimate capacity of 19, 800 m3/d as a replacement of the existing WWTP. However, in this Contract (Stage 1), the Contractor shall design, install, and provide supervision of Operation and Maintenance of a wastewater plant of capacity 13, 200 m3/d.
