The subject of the procurement are expert and design services that support testing and measurement work at VTT's Jyvaeskylae office and work sites.
At VTT's Jyvaeskylae office, research into renewable energy, fiber product manufacturing processes and industrial waters is carried out in an experimental research environmentoe. A key part of the research work is related to experimental research activities. The equipment in use has been designed and built by VTT specifically to be suitable for research use, so similar equipment is not commercially available.
VTT orders services from the selected supplier individuallyas assignments. The services are divided into the following areas:
1. Services related to the management and master planning of demanding projects
2. Process expertise in forestry and energy industry processes, especially related to fiber product and foam edging technologies
3. Electrical, instruducting, automation, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical design services (plant and process design)

5. Machine and work safety assessments, risk analyzes and CE markings
6. ATEX and chemical safety reports and automation integrityson's reviews
