Object of the contract
Based Tributyltin (TBT) colors have been used to prevent marine organisms attach to the ship ''s hull. TBT is very effective against fouling, but has also proven to be very toxic. In juvenile snails can TBT induce formation of the penis and vas deferens in females, imposex. The degradability of the sediments is low, and the topic will therefore, despite the ban, to remain in the environment for years to comeAPver.Enligt Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the North-East Atlantic ( OSPAR) and the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM ) belongs organotin substances to be prioritized in environmental monitoring. Along with parts of the Swedish west coast carried out since 2003 Observation of effects of organotin compounds by analyzing the degree of imposex in nAtsnAckan Nassarius nitidus. Analysis of imposexsupplemented by analysis of snails'' tissue concentrations of TBT and its nedbrytningsprodukter.Sedan 2008 is a corresponding monitoring program along the Baltic coast. Imposex measured here instead of large thousand shell Peringia ulvae. Tissue analysis is not included on this species because it is too small and it is therefore difficult to collect sufficient biomass for chemical analys.Uppdraget consists of performing biologi-cal power monitoring of organic tin compounds along the Swedish coast. The effects are measured by studying the occurrence of imposex in nAtsnAcka Nassarius nitidus (West Coast) and thousands shell Peringia ulvae (Baltic Sea).NaturvArdsverket intends to sign an agreement with one (1) supplier of consultants for biological effektAPvervakning.Avtalsperioden valid from preliminary 2.6.2015- 05/31/2017 with mAPjlighet for the Environmental Protection Agency to extend the contract for 1 + 1 year later than 31/05/2019. The mission should be able to start in June 2015.Hela contract period including any renewals estimated at about 2.4 million SEK for the mission. In addition to the main quest, it can during the term may be necessary to exercise options and these are estimated to total about 300 thousandfor the entire contract period.
