This is a sources sought announcement only. This is not a request for proposal. The technical applications contracting office, ft. Eustis, va is seeking information on potential firms qualified to provide a quotation on a future purchase. The proposed award will be a purchase order for an engine inlet barrier filter (eibf), a component of the aircraft's engine subsystem, currently fielded on us special operations aviation aircraft, with the following objectives: (1) reduce the maintenance burden associated with operations in high sand and dust environments; (2) procure a lighter eibf solution for the aircraft operating a unique yt-706 engine configuration. The naics code for this procurement is 336413. Any information submitted is voluntary.
