The document examination equipment will consist of : (a) Equipment that is suitably provisioned to examine the security features of documents and examining the document for evidence of tampering or other fraud, using different light sources (at a minimum infra-red and ultra violet capabilities) and high resolution/high magnification imaging.(b) Optical and/or digital microscopes and associated equipment.(c) Digital Cameras that have the ability to be attached to microscopes/ stereomicroscopes or operate individually.(d) Servicing / Maintenance of products on a programmed or ad-hoc / emergency basis by suitably qualified and accredited personnel.(e) Networked capability of equipment to enable images to be transferred from locations where document examination equipment may be located, to document examination laboratories where the images can be viewed and analysed by a forensic document examiners
