The city of Vantaa and telecom operators DNA Oyj, Elisa Oyj, Telia Finland Oyj and Global Connect Oy and have negotiated the contract to be used in Vantaa Ratika regarding the new construction of telecom networks and cable transfers. Due to the construction of the trolley telecommunication networks have to be relocated in many places, and in connection with the construction, it is also appropriate that in the trolleybus project, new electrical networks are built to meet the needs of telecommunications operators. The city orders their own from telecom operators as a direct purchase transfer works concerning their lines as direct procurement, because the owners of the lines require that they build the electrical and telecommunication works of the site themselves. The preliminary estimate of the value of the relocation works is 6.5 million euros. Relocation works are subject to approval by the city council to the project plan. The earthworks and protective piping for telecommunications networks is done by the Ratikka alliance, while the cabling and electrical and telecommunication works are handled by the telecom operator in question. The main executor of the construction sites is the main executor of the alliance. Telecom operators compensate the city for the costs of building new telecom networks in accordance with the unit prices presented in the contract. The distribution of the cost of line transfers between the city and the telecommunications operator is mainly followed by the previous ones the principles of cooperation agreements, according to which the cost responsibility is determined according to the term of the cables' placement permits and site plan changes.
