SBB intends to advertise a comprehensive, digital language learning offer for its employees. The aim is to provide online language courses, e-learning modules and virtual class formats to promote oral and written communication skills in several languages (especially German, French, Italian and English). The focus is on standardized language level courses according to the CEFR as well as company-specific learning content, especially with job-related and railway-specific vocabulary. The offer should also include placement tests, language tests and modular, flexible learning formats for different target groups and areas of application. The solution should be scalable, technically integrated (e.g. LMS connection) and be aimed at high user flexibility as well as future developments (including innovative learning approaches).
