MICs Group of Health Services (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner” or “MICs”) is issuing this Request forProposal (RFP) to select a qualified firm interested and capable of acting as the Design-Builder and GeneralContractor for a turn-key fixed-price solution for the design, permitting and construction of a new 6-unit apartmentbuilding in Cochrane, Ontario.The successful Proponent will be responsible for providing complete project management, design coordination, professional design services through licensed Ontario professionals, permit applications, procurement, construction, commissioning, close-out, warranty, and turnover of a complete building ready for occupancy.The contemplated form of agreement is CCDC 14 - Design-Build Stipulated Price Contract, as amended by anySupplementary Conditions issued by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to use another mutuallyacceptable form of agreement.The Project consists of a new one-storey, slab-on-grade, 6-unit apartment dwelling to support MICs Group ofHealth Services programming and housing needs in Cochrane, Ontario.
