Expression of Interest are invited for Design, Build and Operation of Mechanical Auto-Parking System (MAPS) at SPX1

The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) is now inviting qualified and experienced
companies to tender for Design, Build and Operation of Mechanical Auto-Parking System (MAPS) at the
Development of Hong Kong Science Park Expansion Stage 1 (SPX1). The Development occupies a site of
approximately 11, 860 m2 at the northwestern corner of Phase 3, Hong Kong Science Park at Pak Shek Kok,
Tai Po.
The envisaged scope of the Contract Works is the design, supply, installation and operation of the Mechanical
Auto-Parking System (MAPS) at level 1M/F (approx. 3000m2 in area with about 90 parking lots for motor
vehicles) of the building which adopts automatic goods vehicles (AGV-s) to transport motor vehicles to and
from designated drop off/ collection points. The current SPX1 carpark to be retrofitted with MAPS will be
statutory compliant as a conventional car park. The said works shall include but not limited to design, supply of
relevant Parking System and accessories, modifications and statutory submissions, as required.

The minimum criterion to be satisfied for long-listing purposes is as follows:-
a) The prospective company shall have experience in, and provide documentary evidence of, the
construction of Mechanical Auto-Parking System (MAPS) for at least one (1) job experience with
contract value exceeding HK$5 million within the last five (5) years.
Submission Requirements
The Prospective Companies are required to return the Acknowledgement Slip (Annex II) by fax (2607 4431)
and submit formal confirmation including the provision of relevant information as outlined in Qualifying Criteria
(Annex III) and Declaration Proforma (Annex IV) for EOI purposes via letter in a sealed envelope marked
according to the Template to be Marked on the Returning Envelope (Annex V) and placed in the “Tender
Submission Box” as shown in Location Plan of the Tender Submission Box (Annex VI) by, latest noon on 28th
November 2018. The submission shall be addressed to:
