Ministry of Health Computing Division Tenders 40-2019 Data Scientist Services for the Ministry of Health
The Senior Information Systems Division of the Ministry of Health is hereby applying for Data Scientists' services, which will be integrated into the research activity carried out under the Big Data Platform (ITA) and further on another research platform such as Mosaic.
Today, data scientists' service is provided on a monthly basis of 2, 000 hours by a number of companies. The tender will select 3 suppliers that will provide data science services. The suppliers will be responsible for providing data scientists according to the Ministry of Health's requirement for conducting research on replica data.
The work of data scientists will be under the regular supervision of the Big Data Department Manager, Research Managers on behalf of the Department and Chief Data Scientist of the department. The work of data scientists requires appropriate knowledge and experience for research activity in vast data and emphasis should be placed on the nature of the work which differs in essence from the work of analysts and statisticians.
