Tenders are invited for CREST Support to PPIAF-s TA: Malawi: Malawi PPP Support (Phase 1)
The objective of this assignment is to support the GoM to enhance its capacity to develop low carbon; climate resilient (LCR) infrastructure PPPs through legal and financial planning and enabling GoM staff to better anticipate and address climate impacts to infrastructure PPP pipelines. The CREST will further the impact of the PPIAF TA objectives through the (i) development of climate resilient PPP infrastructure investment criteria; and (ii) enhancing early market sounding by the development of climate resilient PPP infrastructure investment criteria and identifying PPP pipeline projects that can be suitable for climate/green private sector finance private sector finance.A consultant firm (referred to as “consultant” in the rest of the document) will conduct the relevant tasks for this activity. The consultant is expected to conduct most of this work virtually; using mainly online; publicly available data sources; and virtual consultations/workshops with relevant stakeholders.
