Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Coordination, Management and Supervision Services for Construction of Infrastructure Works under the Water Distribution Project in Jose Silva Sanchez, Municipality of Soto la Marina, Tamaulipas.

The water utility, Comisión Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado del Municipio de Soto la Marina, (COMAPA) in Soto la Marina, Tamaulipas, is planning to carry out construction work related to a Drinking Water Project for Jose Silva Sanchez in the Municipality of Soto la Marina, which will be partially financed by a grant from the North American Development Bank (NADB).

COMAPA intends to execute the following infrastructure works:

1. Equipment for the well, with a volumetric flow rate of 1.6 lps or 25.4 gpm, consisting of:

a. Power line and transformer to supply energy to well;

b. Electromechanical equipment;

c. Chlorination unit;

d. Perimeter fence; and

e. Rehabilitation of control room;

2. Construction of an elevated water storage tank, 10 meters above ground, with the capacity to hold 25 cubic meters of water;

3. Installation of 3, 052 meters of water transmission line from the well to the elevated tank using 2-inch PVC pipe; and

4. Installation of 1, 651 meters of water distribution lines using 2-inch PVC pipes.

NADB intends to contract a qualified consulting firm to provide Coordination, Management and Supervision Services for Construction of Infrastructure Works under the Water Distribution Project in Jose Silva Sanchez, Municipality of Soto la Marina, Tamaulipas. The services will consist of verifying that construction work is carried out in accordance with the designs, specifications and established standards, as well as monitoring project performance and the proper use of funds provided by NADB. These services are expected to begin in first quarter of 2019 and take approximately 7 months to complete.

The consultant will be selected and contracted in accordance with NADB Procurement Policies and Procedures, as NADB will be the Executing Agency.
