Provision of Pacific 24 Simulator

Using MOD owned virtual battle space 3, this software is to be integrated into a Defence Virtual Simulator (DVS) training solution. This is a driving console modelled on the Pacific 24 (PAC24) RHIB, delivered to Royal Navy Reserves sites.
Main Site : Portsmouth.
The RNR require Defence Virtual Simulation (DVS) for small boat coxswain training. The training solution requires a driving console based on the Pacific 24 Mk4 Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) as used by the RN. This console will be integrated into DVS to allow a trainee to practice boat driving at each of the RNR units across the country.
Expected use of these DVS trainers is around 10 hours per week with a requirement for 15 x static trainer consoles and 5 x mobile trainer consoles.
Contract to start as soon as possible with delivery to first RNR Unit by 31.1.2020 and last by 15.3.2020. Support/maintenance contract to start from first delivery and continue for 5 years with an option to continue for a further 5 years to be paid annually.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
