Provision of Third Party Baggage Handling Services and/or Ramp Handling Services and/or Ramp Handling Services for In-flight Catering at Samos Airport "Aristarchos of Samos"

Fraport Regional Airports of Greece B S.A. (hereinafter called FGB) in compliance with the stipulations of the applicable legislation, intends to proceed with the selection procedure in order for the Airport Rights, in relation to the provision of Baggage Handling Services and/or Ramp Handling Services and/or Ramp Handling Services for In-flight Catering to Airport Users at Samos Airport "Aristarchos of Samos", to be granted to natural persons and/or companies or consortia (hereinafter called the Service Providers). The Service Providers will undertake the financing, the procurement of the necessary equipment and the operation related to the provision of those Services.

Provision of Baggage Handling Services means: the handling of baggage in the sorting area, sorting it, preparing it for departure, loading it on to and unloading it from the devices designed to move it from the aircraft to the sorting area and vice versa, as well as transporting baggage from the sorting area to the reclaim area (category 3, as described in Annex A of the Basic Ground Handling Regulation (Ministerial Decision No. ?3/?/16067/3831/2011, Government Gazette ?1138/2011)).

It is intended that three (3) Airport Rights in relation to the provision of Baggage Handling Services are granted.

As stated in the tender documents.

All parties interested in participating in the tender process are requested to send an expression of interest statement with an email to the attention of Mrs. E. Mouchti (email address: e.mouchti@fraport-greece.com) copy to Mr. M. Leledakis (email address: m.leledakis@fraport-greece.com) expressing their interest to participate. The expression of interest statement shall include name of tenderer, contact person, email address and telephone number as well as the lots for which the tenderer is interested. After the submission of the expression of interest, the parties will receive the tender documents following the execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement which will be sent to them upon their request.

Official language of the tender is English, except for documents that may be accepted in Greek as provided in the tender documents. In addition, certificates and official documents that are provided in Article 4 of the Basic Ground Handling Regulation shall be submitted in Greek Language as per the stipulations of such Regulation.

Tenderers must be established within the European Union, as provided in Article 4.5 of the Basic Ground Handling Regulation.

Tenderers may be requested to supply additional information and attend interviews.

Fraport Greece reserves the right to terminate the tender process or not proceed with the contract at any stage of the tender process.

The tender will be subject to Greek Law.

The current tender process does not fall under the scope of EU Public Procurement rules and this publication is made for the purposes of Council Directive 96/67/EC.
