Maintenance, rental, purchase and storage of mailroom equipment

Reference Number: IUC20-622

In order to process incoming and outgoing mail, the Tax and Customs Administration requires mailroom equipment. This equipment includes envelope openers, envelope closers and inserting machines. With this tender, the Tax and Customs Administration wants to select a party that will use this appacan maintain preventive and corrective nature, but can also provide new equipment on the basis of purchase or rent.

The value of the contract is estimated at approximately EUR 140, 000 per year (including VAT). This includes preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, rent, purchase and storage. Due to the expected decrease in the number of mail items to be sent and received, the value will rise in dit contract not in line with expectations. The maximum budget for this call for tenders is EUR 600 000 (including VAT) over four years. The framework agreement can be terminated by the client with a notice period of one month if this maximum budget has been reached or if it can be exceeded by the next assignment, without this giving rise to any right to compensation.
