Radio Direction Finders (RDF)
ATC-NL anticipates to procure Radio Direction Finders (RDF) that enables ATC-NL to perform their Air traffic Control services. ATC-NL is a Contracting Authority and — based on its procurement policies and public procurement laws and regulations — conducts this tender procedure. This selection guide describes the goals that ATC-NL endeavours to achieve with implementing RDF's.
Scope of supply for the assignment:
The awarded contract will foresee in various services and options. the scope of the assignment can be split in deliveries, services and options as listed here below:
Deliveries:
— RDF facilities for the locations Schiphol airport, Rotterdam airport, Beek airport, Eelde airport, Lelystad airport, Nijkerk, Texel, Maasland, Assendelft and Veldhoven,
— system design. based on the requirements of ATC-NL,
— RDF Constellation design for Schiphol airport
— RDF Facilities and DF Server System,
— software licenses,
— documentation and maintenance procedures,
— spare parts,
— acceptance test reports,
— special tools. e.g. test, maintenance and measurement tools,
— migration design.
Services:
— project management,
— kick-off and Progress meetings at ATC-NL,
— installation,
— training of ATC-NL staff,
— test management,
— life cycle and logistics support of the RDF Environment,
— 4nd line maintenance RDF Facility and DF Server.
— continuity assurance of the delivered software (such as Escrow).
Options:
— development and support on future RDF Environment expansion and/or environment adjustments,
— extension of the maintenance and support services period,
— register, track and trace customer problem reports,
—additional RDF Facilities,
— providing 24/7 2nd line maintenance DF server,
— providing 24/7 2nd line maintenance RDF facility,
— providing 24/7 2nd line maintenance Network extern,
