The project consists of tender design that is a part of widening of a 9 km section of Hringvegur (1), near Kjalarnes (about 25 km outside Reykjavik City). The works include widening of a 9 km section from 2 lanes to 2 + 1 lanes, three new roundabouts, approximately 12 km of minor roads, 2 new concrete underpasses and 3 steel underpasses, and approximately 3, 4 km pedestrian and bike trails.
Main Site : Kjalarnes, about 25 km outside Reykjavik City.
Tenders will be opened in two stages 7.5.2019 and 14.5.2019.
Tenders will be submitted in 2 envelopes, the first includes the documents related to qualification and competence of the bidders. The latter envelope includes the price for fulfilling the contract.
The tender conference will be held at the office of the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration in Borgartun 5 7 in Reykjavik.
The tenders will be opened in 2 stages. The former opening is on the 7.5.2019 — 14:15.
The latter opening will be on the 14.5.2019 14:15 where the envelope including the price for fulfilling the contract will be opened, only the qualified bidders will be opened.
