Delivery of Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Training

Deliver instructor led training to Cybersecurity Apprenticeship participants in Cork region — Apprentices will complete the apprenticeship programme to gain an Advanced Certificate in Cybersecurity at level 6 in the National Framework of Qualifications:
Main Site : Waterford.
Deliver instructor led training to Cybersecurity Apprenticeship participants in Cork, Ireland over a 2 year period. The successful service provider will provide required course software, materials, I.T. equipment and administration requirements.
Duration:
Apprentices will spend the first 6 months in full time training (5 days per week), the next 12 months working with their employer for 3 days per week with 2 days on college day-release and the final 6 months working with their employer 4 days per week with 1 day in college finalising their certification.
Modules and certification:
Apprentices will complete the apprenticeship programme to gain an Advanced Certificate in Cybersecurity at level 6 in the National Framework of Qualifications:
1) The CompTIA Cybersecurity Pathway includes:
— CompTIA IT Fundamentals,
— CompTIA Network+,
— CompTIA Security+,
— CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst,
— CompTIA Penetration Tester;
2) City and Guilds transversal learning modules including:
— effective communications,
— project management,
— personal and professional development;
3) City and Guilds Award for Professional Recognition (I.T.);
4) Applied Learning in the Workplace (Apprentice Online Logbook);
5) A Capstone Project.
