GASCO, hereinafter referred to as 'the Client', intends, using part of the proceeds of a Loan from European Bank for reconstruction and development, hereinafter referred to.
As 'the Bank' towards the cost of EGAS Energy Efficiency project, to improve its gas metering systems..
The overall gas metering systems project is summarised in the below, for each lot..
Lot A.
Upgrade gas metering stations by adding online gas chromatographs (GCs) to their measurement systems so that they can perform gas measurement based on energybasis. This is considered one of the most important requirements of the Egyptian Gas Regulatory Authority..
Increase the gas measurement accuracy for a number of gas stations by changing their primary measuring element from orifice to ultrasonic (USM) and also by adding on line.
GCs as well as their auxiliaries, to achieve the goal of energy measurement..
Lot B.
Upgrade gas metering stations by replacing the obsolete gas measurement devices (particularly the flow computers) with new ones with their auxiliaries, to maintain healthier, more accurate and reliable measurement systems..
Lot C.
Upgrade gas metering stations by changing the old/damaged turbine meters (TM) or adding new ones. This lot covers variable TM sizes having different ANSI ratings (150/300/600), either serving consumers' stations or Gasco distribution centres..
Variable TM sizes having different ANSI ratings subject to existing stations conditions are covered. Each one of the TMs supplied under this lot is required to be equipped with a volume corrector (locally-mounted) on it..
Lot D.
Upgrade gas metering stations by replacing the old/damaged uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS) with new ones to secure the DC supply to all important devices and instruments inside existing control room shelters, especially those responsible for performing gas measurement such as flow computers and GCs..
Lot E.
Supply and installation of RTU's. Supply and installation of Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) purpose is to collect all operational data in site (e.g. pressure, temperature, valve status and command for valve, shelter door status, rectifier status, etc.) to be connected to Gasco Scada control centres for monitoring and controlling the communication media in site for the connectivity between site and control centres..
Lot F.
Supply and installation of interface equipment. The purpose is to collect all operational data in site (e.g. pressure, temperature, valve status and command for valve, shelter door status, rectifier status .... etc.) from the interface of Gasco metering system, then connect the data to Gasco Scada control centres for monitoring and controlling the communication media in site for the connectivity between site and control centres..
Lot G.
Al-Waleedia pressure reduction and metering gas station. The scope of work of this station will include supplying and commissioning of the skid-mounted filtering, reducing, heating and metering gas station to serve feeding natural gas to Al- Waleedia power plant at Assiut governorate in Upper Egypt as an alternative fuel instead of the heavy oil fuel (current fuel of the power plant) which is currently causing harmful and dangerous emissions to environment and all the living creatures. Applicants, solely or through JV, to quote for the following scope of the contract:.
Lot D: Supply and commissioning of Qty (17) UPS systems upgrade gas metering stations by replacing the old/damaged uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS) with new ones to secure the DC supply to all important devices and instruments inside existing control room shelters, especially those responsible for performing gas measurement such as flow computers and GCs..
Pre-qualification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a Loan from the Bank is open to firms and joint ventures of firms from any country..
