Macedonia — Detailed Elevation Data with the Help of LiDAR

Statens kartverk [the Norwegian Mapping Authority] c/o International Services, invites tenderers to participate in a tender competition about detailed elevation data with the help of LiDAR in northern parts of Macedonia.
Main Site : Macedonia.
Detailed elevation data shall be established with the help of LiDAR in northern parts of Macedonia.
An area around the capital Skopje (530 km) has the highest priority and shall be mapped with a density of 5 points/km.
Block 2-4 (approx. 2 600 km) is situated close to block 1 and must be scanned with a denisity of 2 points/km.
The total areas subject to mapping in this round can be larger, dependent on the budget and offered prices from the selected provider.
The mapping shall be carried out with the help of LiDAR. In addition to the LiDAR scanning, classification of the point clouds shall also be implemented and a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and surface model (DOM) shall be delivered in GRID format.
How the mapping shall be carried out and delivered is described in the attached specifications.
Tenderers must be a legally registered company.
Tenderers must document financial capacity to carry out the assignment.
