Continuous CAR insurance

The municipality of Utrecht (hereafter: the municipality) intends to conclude 1 or more agreements with regard to the Continuous Construction All Risks Insurance (Continuous CAR insurance). The municipality intends to award the contract to one or more tenderer (s). The municipality awards the contract to the tenderer(s) with the most economically advantageous tender (s).

The current contract for CAR insurance commenced on 01.01.2017. The agreement has been concluded for a period of 2 years with a mutual renewal option of 2 times a year. Due to company takeover, the current insurer has indicated that it will not extend the current contract as of 01.01.2019. The municipality is therefore forced to-to re-contract the ongoing CAR insurance. The insurance conditions, policy conditions and clauses are enclosed with the registration guide. The municipality is assisted in this tender by its insurance broker Aon.
