Bergen kommune, the Agency for Development, hereby invites tenderers to a competition for a general contract for project I0400 Tranevatnet, foot/cycle path.

Part of the subsequent requirements in the development plan for the development of the Slatthaug area and the construction of, amongst other things, a new multi-purpose hall, is comprehensive measures in Slatthaug sports park. This general contract is a considerable part of the total project 'Tranevatnet foot and cycle path and path around Tranevatnet' and the demolition of Skytterhuset and the development of new parking places.

A completely new foot/cycle path has been engineered from Osveien to Slatthaugveien by the junction opposite the northern end of the ice rink. In addition, a path is to be developed around Tranevatnet, which will make this natural pearl accessible to the public and an attractive addition to the area. Furthermore, the Skytterhuset, which was constructed in approx. 1950, is to be demolished to make room for additional parking places and a turning place for buses, etc. The work must be carried out whilst the sports facilities are in full use and consideration must be given to the users of the facilities, including children and youths, in the best possible way.
