574_Ersatz Viaduct Wolhusen

The single-track Wolhusen railway viaduct at km 24 623 of the BLS railway line Langenthal Wolhusen is located in the Wolhusen LU community, is embedded and crossed between two railway embankments the cantonal road K10, which leads from Lucerne to Entlebuch. The original viaduct wase was opened in 1895 as a stamped concrete construction with five boulders, each with a 7.0 m span. In 1971, the northern two boulders were reconstructed and replaced by the prestressed concrete bridge 1 over the Kantonstrasse K10.

The original viaduct was opened in 1895 as a tamped concrete structure with five 7, 0 m wings. In 1971, the northern two boulders were reconstructed and replaced by the prestressed concrete bridge 1 over the Kantonstrasse K10.

Due to the poor state of the VThe replacement of the remaining viaduct is planned for the surviving arch bridge. Following the existing prestressed concrete bridge 1, a prestressed beam bridge (prestressed concrete bridge 2) is planned.

In the course of the realization of prestressed concrete bridge 2, the sealing of the existing prestressed concrete bridge 1 is replaced by a UHFB sealing (d = 30 mm).
