Collection of data and services for the Market Observatory for Energy
The Market Observatory for Energy maintains and operates the Energy Market Observation System (EMOS), a data warehouse. The MOE has also access to other data platforms and information sources. Information on the MOE, EMOS and its current list of data providers and dissemination tools is available in the terms of reference, Annexes 5 and 6 and here:
A) Hydrocarbon Resources: a global, asset-by-asset, relational dataset for the upstream oil, gas and coal industry. It should include the following data dimensions of analysis:
a. geography;
b. ownership and operation;
c. on- / offshore;
d. hydrocarbon types (including unconventional);
e. field life cycle;
f. reserves;
g. production profiles;
h. economic indicators;
i. discoveries and exploration licenses.
It should contain historical and projected information on reserves, exploration and production of oil, gas and coal, covering at least the world's major and mid-sized producing countries.
B) Reports and advisory services, including but not limited to: regular in-depth reports on global trends for oil, natural gas and coal supply and demand.
