Description
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research for the subject anticipated requirement. This notice is for planning purposes only - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue n RFQ in the future. All interested parties should respond. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice.
Results of this Sources Sought Notice will be used to determine potential levels of competition available in the industry, and establish an acquisition strategy, whether full and open, small business set-aside or sole source.
ANTICIPATED REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION:
The 109th Airlift Wing, Scotia, NY has interest in acquiring a towable, Air Force approved Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment (CFME) (one single unit) as well training on the operation and maintenance of the selected piece of equipment. Air Force Technical Order (T.O.) 33-1-23 lists the Air Force Approved CFME as follows:
