The assignment will support IFC-s engagement in Morocco-s tourism sector by identifying investment-relevant market opportunities, constraints to private sector participation, and practical pathways to mobilize private capital in support of Morocco-s tourism growth ambitions.The consulting firm will undertake a market and ecosystem diagnostic, including stakeholder mapping, tourism market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and review of Morocco-s tourism strategy and targets. Building on this diagnostic, the firm will identify and prioritize tourism investment opportunities across products, sub-segments, and destinations, and conduct deep-dive value chain and gap analyses for selected priority opportunities.The assignment will place strong emphasis on private sector participation, bankability, job creation, sustainability, and climate resilience. It will also assess climate-smart investment opportunities, green finance mechanisms, workforce and training needs, SME participation, local supply chain development, and enabling environment reforms required to unlock investment at scale. The final output will be a practical and actionable Tourism Investment Roadmap, including a prioritized pipeline of investment opportunities, recommendations for enabling environment reforms, climate-smart and green finance solutions, and potential areas for IFC and World Bank Group support.
