Scope of Work The firm is expected to: 1. Convene consultation with key stakeholders to: - Garner best practices and lessons learnt from previous applications of VTOL and LiDAR equipment. - Inform the effective development and implementation of VTOL and LiDAR application in forest areas in Jamaica. - Acquire VTOL w/ LiDAR and Hyperspectral sensor (including an annual license and relevant warranties). The consultant is also expected to: o Conduct 3 Pilot Testing sessions of the VTOL w/ LiDAR and Hyperspectral sensor equipment. The consultant is required to prepare a report after each Pilot testing assessment noting challenges, imagery quality, and analysis of data collected. o Conduct Basic training in LiDAR Data Analysis with Forestry Personnel (see annex 1 for topics to be covered). 2. Conduct 5-day advanced training with the technical Field team to include GIS personnel and ICT team members on LiDAR, spectral imagery analysis (See Annex 1 for topics to be covered); and prepare final report. 3.
