Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services for an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for (1) Oistins Waterfront Improvements Project; And Environmental and Social Assessments for the following Projects: (2) Bridgetown Tourist Urban Route, Tram Tour of Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison and Upgrades to Trevor-S Way Projects; (3) Pedestrianisation of St. Lawrence Gap with the Possible Operation of a Tram Service Project; And (4) Upgrades to the Cricket Legends of Barbados Museum Project for the Ministry of Tourism and International Transport

(i) Project 1: Oistins Waterfront Improvements
The consulting services include, but are not limited to undertaking Data Analysis and an Initial Diagnosis,
developing the ESIA and preparing the ESMP, and conducting stakeholder engagement and consultation for
the participatory Design Process.
This consultancy is tentatively expected to commence October 2023 for a duration of approximately six (6)
months.
(ii) Project 2: Bridgetown Tourist Urban Route, Tram Tour of Historic Bridgetown and Its Garrison and Upgrades
to Trevor-s Way
The consulting services include, but are not limited to undertaking Data Analysis and an Initial Diagnosis,
developing the ESA and preparing the ESMP, and conducting stakeholder engagement and consultation for the
participatory Design Process.
This consultancy is tentatively expected to commence July 2023 for a duration of approximately four (4)
months.
(iii) Project 3: Pedestrianisation of St. Lawrence Gap with the possible Operation of a Tram Service
The consulting services include, but are not limited to undertaking Data Analysis and an Initial Diagnosis,
developing the ESA and preparing the ESMP, and conducting stakeholder engagement and consultation for the participatory
Design Process.
This consultancy is tentatively expected to commence October 2023 for a duration of approximately four (4)
months.
(iv) Project 4: Upgrades to the Cricket Legends of Barbados Museum
The consulting services include, but are not limited to undertaking Data Analysis and an Initial Diagnosis,
developing the ESA and preparing the ESMP, and conducting stakeholder engagement and consultation for the
participatory Design Process.
This consultancy is tentatively expected to commence October 2023 for a duration of approximately four
(4) months.
3. The Government of Barbados through the Project Executing Unit (PEU) of the Ministry of Tourism and International
Transport now invites eligible Consulting Firms (“Consultants”) to submit their Expressions of Interest with respect to
providing the referenced consultancy services.
