Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for the Design of Infrastructure Works for Four Bsif Iv Sub-Projects

The objective of the consultancy is to prepare detailed designs and cost estimates, procurement documents, Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessments (CRVA) and an estimate of the level of climate financing included in each of the four sub-projects. Designs shall be gender-responsive, socially inclusive, environmentally friendly and climate-resilient.

The assignment includes the full architectural and structural design of the Orange Walk Polyclinic and the Belize City Family Care Centre; the addition of a first floor to the Caye Caulker Polyclinic; and provision of potable water to the Corozal Free Zone. The selected Consulting firm will be required to review existing designs (where available); advise on the scope and adequacy of the sub-project interventions; and provide detailed designs, engineer estimates, and priced activity schedules. The work must consider thematic areas such as gender, environmental sustainability and climate change and shall seek to integrate disaster risk mitigation measures into designs.
