Project Name : Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Human Capital Development Project.
Information for Tenderer/Consultant :
Eligibility of Tenderer : 1. Small Piped Water Supply Schemes will be implemented by the selection of DBO (Design-Build-Operate) Firm/Contractor.2. Eligibility criteria for the selection of DBO contractors:a) Construction Company/NGO/Social Enterprise/Joint Venture of Construction Company with Social Enterprise/NGOs.b) Must have specific experience in the construction of Tube well/Production well/Overhaead Water Tank (OHT)/Water Treatment Plant/Piped Water Supply Scheme.c) Must have experience in community mobilization and operation & maintenance of water infrastructures/piped water supply schemeds.d) Financial solvency to invest in capital expenditure or operational expenditure.3. The contract awarded DBO Firm/Contractor will be fully responsible for ensuring sustainable Operation & Maintenance (O&M) for initial 05 (five) years after successful completion of the scheme. For this purpose, a tripartite contract agreement has to be furnished along with submission of a security bond amounting to 05% of the contract value of the scheme in the form of a Pay Order/Bank Guarantee in favor of the relevant Exrcutive Engineer before submission of the final bill which will be relased after successful Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of the initial 05 (five) years.4. It is mandatory for all interested bidders/Representatives along with JV partners/Representatives to participate in the Pre-tender meeting through the e-GP system to have a better understanding of the implementation modality of the scheme.
