Expression of Interest are invited for Competitiveness and Job Creation Project(CJCP):Survey on SME-FDI Business Linkages in Ethiopia.

The aim of the study is to assess the relationship between FDI companies operating in industrial parks and the local SME sector in order to understand the underlying factors limiting the scale-up of business-to-business linkages between local SMEs and firms in industrial parks.

The assignment will involve a quantitively survey of: a) apparel and garment manufacturing firms (mainly FDI companies) mostly operating in industrial parks in Ethiopia; b) global apparel souring companies currently purchasing from companies operating in Ethiopia; 3) large, medium to small domestic firms in and around cities that have an already built and operational industrial parks. The study will focus on SMEs that provide inputs supplies and accessories and services to industrial parks in apparel and textile value-chains; and service providers to manufacturers and employees of industrial parks.

The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

· 2. Provide information on the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm.

· 3. Provide information on their core business and years in business.

· 4. Provide information on the qualifications of key staff.
