Collection of Waste, Bulking and Marketing of Recyclable Materials from Recycling Centres in County Wexford
Wexford County Council (WCC) operates 4 Civic Amenity facilities at the following locations: Holmestown, New Ross, Enniscorthy, Gorey. The Holmestown site offers to members of the public a facility where domestic waste and recyclable materials can be deposited. While the other three Civic Amenity Sites offer a service to members of the public to recycle all of their domestic recycling materials. Including Cardboard, Plastics, Magazines, Newspapers, Glass, scrap metal, lead acid batteries, household batteries, electric fence batteries and accumulators of all shapes and sizes, waste oils, Cooking oil, Textiles, Food Waste, Electrical products including white goods. The scope of this contract will require the successful service provider to cater for all waste and recycling streams at these sites except the following: • Glass and Aluminum cans, • All electrical goods, household batteries, electric fence batteries and accumulators which are catered for under the WEEE recycling scheme • Textiles and Newspapers • Green Waste. The purpose of this Tender Documents is to procure a Service provider to undertake the following service; • The collection of specified recyclable and waste streams from 4 Civic Amenity sites in Co.
