Collection, transport and disposal of medical waste The order covers the following scope: 1) Collection, transport and disposal of medical waste with codes 180102, 180103, 180106, 180108, 180109 2) Average monthly number of waste with codes 180102, 180103 transferred for disposal - approximately 7, 000 kg. 3) Collection of waste with codes 180108, 180109 - once a month from the hospital pharmacy. 4) Collection of chemical reagents with code 180106 - beakers of dyes from dyeing hematological preparations (methanol over 99% blue methylene, eosin, azur) - 10 L per month from the laboratory. 5) Requirements for the provision of the service: a) The ordering party requires confirmation of the compliance of the offer and the implementation of the subject of the order with the "principle of proximity" expressed in Art. 20 section 2-6 of the Act of 14 December 2012 on waste, which states: it is prohibited to dispose of infectious medical waste outside the voivodeship where it was generated. Infectious medical waste may be disposed of in a voivodeship other than voivodeship the one where they were produced, in the nearest installation, if there is no installation for the disposal of this waste in a given voivodeship or if the existing installations do not have spare processing capacity. b) The ordering party requires waste disposal using a method in accordance with Art. 95 section 2-3 of the Act of December 14, 2012 on waste - infectious medical waste is neutralized by thermal transformation in hazardous waste incinerators...
