Description: The development of the fairway marking system includes a state-of-the-art buoy system and shore signals that fit well with the safety system of the 3, 300 km long Rhine-Main-Danube inland waterway. Furthermore, it fully complies with the relevant legal requirements and is designed to enable vessels to navigate safely with the navigation equipment required of them. On the Hungarian Danube section, the entire fairway marking system consists of about 1, 500 signs, including floating and shore signs.
Within the framework of the CEF project “Development of the Danube Waterway Layout System”, the task is to procure shore-based, waterway-lined shore signals and river-kilometer signs for state-managed (water-maintained) water transport, together with on-site installation.
