Description
This is a Synopsis Notification action. The U.S. Military Academy, Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), West Point, NY intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, for Califonium cf-52 Neutron Source-6 micrograms each + 10% Model 100. This notice is being published in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals.
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this source sought notice.
