Short description of the procurement: An aluminum catamaran-type research vessel of up to 11.9 meters (width up to 5.2 m, draft 1.2 m) must be designed and built according to good shipbuilding practices and meet the rules, requirements and take into account the conditions listed in the basic procurement documents. The ship must include the necessary accessories and functionalities. The main function of the ship is conducting underwater geological research in Estonian sea areas, the minimum service life is 20 years, resistance to sea conditions: significant wave height up to 2 m, wind 6 balls on the Beaufort scale, limited ability to drive in ice (up to 3 cm of frozen ice), maximum number of people 12 people, load capacity min 2700 kg. The ship must have at least the following areas: 1. Wheelhouse (at the front of the main deck) 2. Kitchen area 3. Cabins 4. Toilet 5. Bow and stern decks 6. Bow peaks 7. Engine rooms 8. Stern peaks The given data are informative and may change as a result of negotiations. The financing of the purchase of the research vessel is carried out in cooperation with the leasing company.
