Tender Details

Brand name or equal Zeiss Lumera 700 shall be a standard floor stand operating microscope, shall run on a 120V outlet. It shall provide a clear red reflex, provide 100% stereoscopic stereopsis and image quality, shall provide coaxial illumination. It shall have automated microscope translational movement in the x, y and z axes, travel range of max.61mmx61mm It shall have a zoom ratio of 1:6, 10x Wide-angle eyepiece and a focus range of 70mm, shall have translational focus and zoom movement, and shall be controlled entirely through a foot pedal. It shall have automated tilt capability and have several inches of clearance between the operative filed and the scope. It shall have a bright LED fiberoptic light illumination that provides natural appearing colors, have stereo coaxial illumination capabilities, and have an integral UV filter. It shall have an assistant scope with stereo vision capabilities and independent focusing with no light loss for the main surgeon. It shall have video recording ability via USB, integrated 22 HD monitor and shall have a backup lamp and it shall have an integrated keratoscope. Floor mounted is preferable, but not required so that the scope is portable.
If the system/device uses a Microsoft Operating System (OS), it shall be Windows 7 or higher. If required to install software on end users computers, it shall run on an Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) computer. All servers that require Windows OS shall run Windows Server 2008 or higher.
All equipment and accessories shall be new from the manufacturer. Used or refurbished equipment, or equipment obtained from a third party shall not be accepted. Quoter shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
Regulatory Requirements

The equipment shall be compliant with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements to market and deliver medical products for use in the United States of America, even should delivery be requested outside of the United States. The claims made for the product shall comply with the regulations of the FDA with respect to products for marketing and delivery of a medical product for use in the United States of America, even should delivery be requested outside of the United States.
