Tender Details

The project involves installing and connecting new cable infrastructure between various SCK CEN buildings. This includes medium-voltage cables, low-voltage cables (both power and signal cables), fiber optic cables and telephone cables, as well as all associated accessories. Execution takes place via underground drilling and excavation work, which also requires the use of a suction truck. The project also includes the supply and connection of terminal boxes. For certain activities the requires the deployment of personnel who have a security clearance (secret level) or a security advisory for access to the BR2 security zone (non-nuclear zone). All activities must be carried out in a strictly followed manner implementation planning, divided into separate - and not necessarily consecutive - work phases. More specifically, the works are classified in size and order as follows: • Basic I: cabling works route BR2 - OS Cooling tower and the complete underground drillings and the connections to the ventilation building and compressor building; • Basic II: cabling works on the HWP route (outside the BR2 zone); • Option I: cabling works route BR2-OS2; • Option II: cabling works on the purification station route; • Option III: cabling works for lagoon pumps.
