This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The intent of this pre-solicitation notice is for informational purposes only. pursuant to the authority of 41 u.s.c 253(c)(1) and far 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other contractor is capable of satisfying agency requirements. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for supply and install of 29 viking botany cabinets to replace existing damaged cabinets currently integrated into spacesaver mobile systems in building 010a on or about august 12, 2018, using simplified acquisition procedures. This notice of intent is not considered a request for quotation (rfq) nor is it a request for proposals (rfp). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored.
