As part of the project to improve the air conditioning system of the Encamp Sports and Sociocultural Complex (CESE), a global action was initially proposed that included both the supply of the new heat pump and the adaptation work and improvement of the building's air conditioning system as a whole. -During the technical definition phase of the project, it was noted the need to analyze in detail the thermal demands of the different spaces of the complex, given that, in certain periods of year, it may be necessary to have both cold and heat at the same time. This analysis can lead to the implementation of more flexible technical solutions, as well as the relocation of equipment on the roof of the building in order to reduce inconvenience acoustics generated by the operation of the current refrigerator in the neighborhood. -However, and with the aim of guaranteeing the availability of the new cold production machine before the summer period, it has become clear that the terms of manufacture and supply of this type of equipment are a critical factor in the schedule.
