Subcontract: LOT-0001 Title: Albani Torv and the connected urban spaces Description: Total advice and assistance in connection with the urban development project from Albani Torv to Den Historiske Trappe etc. The project is a central part of the urban development project From Street to City, and includes processing and redesigning the public urban spaces around Albani Torv, Skt. Knuds Plads and the adjacent areas. The project aims to create coherent, attractive and robust urban spaces with a high quality of living and movement supports the historical and architectural character of the city centre. After the access to the parking garage is closed and there is mostly only goods traffic in the area, it provides better conditions for a more active urban life in the area. This project is the last part of the transformation and it includes improvements on Albani Torv, transformation of Skt. Knuds Plads, adjustments at Flakhaven and Klingenberg as well as the establishment of the Historic Staircase. The project must help create a connection between time, space and nature. It must strengthen the connections between the Cathedral, the town hall, Odense Å and Nonnebakken and at the same time raise the qualities that make Odense something special. It is an investment in both the city's identity and the citizens' everyday life. Overall, the project must clarify the historical connection between Albani Torv and Skt.
