THE BELGIAN SCHOOL Since the rise of the Antwerp Six in the 1980s, Belgian fashion has built a worldwide reputation for exceptional creativity. With the upcoming Antwerp Six exhibition at MoMu in March 2026, the idea arose to create the to shine a spotlight on the current generation of Belgian designers, by celebrating and reinforcing their strength with a powerful statement. The project 'The Belgian School' (working title) includes an image, a collective portrait, with a selection of Belgian artists creatives associated with the Belgian school and today have a significant impact on the global fashion industry. With this photo we want to create a historical document that illustrates the international influence and creative leadership of the captures Belgian fashion in 2026. Ideally, this photo will circulate in the international press and create a ripple effect that will last for months, even years.
