The applicant proposes placement of a fiber optic submarine cable on State-owned, DMLW managed tide and submerged land from Juneau, to Gustavus, Hoonah, Pelican, Yakutat, and finally ending in Cordova. The fiber optic cable (FOC) subsea system will bring high-speed broadband to rural and underserved communities throughout Southeast Alaska.
