This opinion is part of the urban train operation project in the PACA region.
The contract concerns the supply of electric railcars with lengths of up to 140m maximum operated mainly on the Marseille-Aubagne-Toulon-Hyeres and Marseille-Toulon-les Arcs Dra linesguignan as well as all associated services, in particular logistical support and rolling stock warranty. The procedure used is that of competitive dialogue.

The Contract concerns the supply of around twenty self-propelled trainsets and the services
The self-propelled vehicles will have a basic dual voltage configuration (1500V direct and 25kValternating) capable of traveling at the speed limit of 160 km/h, the length of which will depend on the necessary carrying capacities and defined after completion of the operating studies . The length foravailable in three lengths:
• a version of 110m maxi with a minimum capacity of 400 seats,
• a long version of 140m maxi presenting a seat-to-length ratio identical to that of the 110m version,
• a version short of 83m maximum presenting a placThe seat length is identical to that of the 110m version.
These trains must be compatible with the deployment of ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) signaling which will be in force on the Marseille Ventimiglia axis.
