LC-MS/MS device IR Biotyper TapeStation 4150 Oxford Nanopore Gridion Reagents Software Procurement of laboratory equipment for the University of Szeged in 6 parts within the framework of the project called "METAGEN" The aim of the project is to develop health care, by acquiring new tools and developing techniques: The test methods introduced by the project contribute to more effective diagnostics, patient care and research. Nanopore sequencing enables DNA/RNA sequences determination, thereby real-time pathogen analysis within 24 hours. Furthermore, biotyping based on infrared spectroscopy, which will be introduced within the framework of the tender, facilitates the rapid tracking of hospital infections, resistance genes and virulence factors monitoring, enabling real-time epidemiological investigations. The LC-MS/MS system enables the rapid separation, high-sensitivity detection and determination of antibiotics belonging to different groups from human serum samples, supported thereby improving clinical decision-making and scientific research for more effective treatment of infections. METAGEN addresses the lack of expertise required for bacterial genome sequencing by deepening the knowledge of healthcare providers.
