The Council of State is housed at Kneuterdijk 22 and Oranjestraat 15 in The Hague. For some time, the Council of State has been suffering from leaks because the roof is due for replacement. On the roof is gravel as a ballast. The gravel ensures that the leaks are difficult to detect and restore. The Council of State contributes to achieving the sustainability objectives that the government has drawn up. By using this natural moment to renovate the roof, the Council of State has the chance to also make the roof more sustainable. This will be done by placing solar panels on the roof. With this work, the Council of State is in line with the acceleration projects within the Zon op Roof program (as) of the Central Government Real Estate Agency.
