Please quote your lowest price inclusive of VAT on the items listed below, subject to the Terms and Conditions of this RFQ, and submit your quotation duly signed by your representative not later than Oct. 14, 2019 at Bids and Awards Committee of BFAR 8, 3rd Floor MRGP Commercial Bldg., Marasbaras, Tacloban City. Labor services and delivery of spare parts for the general overhauling of one (1) unit BF 115 OBM Honda 115Hp marine engine with serial no. BEB-HJ-100-4567 of MMPB 3003. 545, 000.00
Terms and conditions:
That the winning bidder shall perform the following/s:
1. A thorough inspection of the unit and record any findings and damaged components.
2. Engine disassembly.
a. Cooling system-fresh and seawater pump, coolant
b. Basic engine-cylinder head, piston and connecting rod
c. Fuel system-fuel pump, spark plugs, high tension wires fuel lines, fuel filters
d. Air inlet & exhaust system-air cleaner, exhaust manifolds
e. Electrical system-sensors, starter motor, charging alternator, harness, relays, etc.
3. Clean and thoroughly inspect cylinder block, crankshaft, piston and rod, and other related components.
4. Perform parts reusability and parts survey.
5. Submit the necessary repair recommendations/affected engine parts/components due to submersion and corrosion
6. Perform engine assembly. Recondition of engine
7. Fill crankcase with Honda motor oil
8. Fill engine cooling system
9. Engine start-up/break-in period and perform operational testing.
10. Submit service reports and work acceptance.
11. Work shall be completed within 10 working days
12. Regular working hours: 8:00-17:00 Mondays thru Saturdays
13. Customer Responsibilities:
a. Must provide necessary assistance required by attending technician/s during the entire servicing.
b. Will ensure vessel/unit-s availability for the above services to be performed on the pre-arranged schedule to avoid delays and cost adjustments.
c. Any other jobs requested by the customer outside mentioned work scope will consider as an additional job, and;
14. In the case of service warranty claims, the transportation and accommodation costs are chargeable to the customer of the job will be done outside Metro Manila.
15. Payment shall be made upon completion of services and after duly inspected by authorized BFAR 8 personnel.
Supplier shall submit the following requirements:
a. Duly signed Request for Quotation. Prices shall be quoted in Philippine Peso.
b. PhilGEPS Registration Certificate
c. Valid Mayor-s/Business Permit
d. Omnibus sworn statement
e. Income tax return (ITR)
Quotations shall be compared and evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:
a. Completeness of submission
b. Compliance with Specifications/Design, if applicable
c. Price and Quality
